We are dedicated to providing the best products and exceptional customer care. Since 2004 we have been supplying wigs and advising on wig care. Whether you are young or old, male or female. Whatever your reason for wearing a wig, come to Periwig Consultants.
We work in three main areas:
- Supplying wigs if you have short-term hair loss (for example as a result of chemotherapy or radiation treatment)
- Supplying custom made wigs if you have long-term hair loss (for example as a result of alopecia)
- Supplying ready to wear wigs, hairpieces and accessories via our online site Periwig Direct

Children and Young People
Hair loss, and the distress it can cause, does not only affect adults. We understand this and over the years have helped boys and girls of all ages.
Periwig Consultants give children and young people the same level of service as adults. But we recognise that sometimes they have different concerns. And that they are still growing, which may influence the right choice of wig.
So we also sell wigs in sizes, colours and styles specifically for children and young people.
NHS Approved Supplier
We are an NHS (Wales) approved supplier. The Velindre NHS Trust, Cardiff and the Vale Health Board, Cwm Taf Health Board, Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, Hywel Dda Health Board and Powys Teaching Health Board, all use us as one of their preferred suppliers. NHS patients referred to us receive a subisdy. This means your wig will be free of charge or can be purchased at a reduced cost.
We Welcome Everyone
We also welcome clients who are choosing to wear a wig for fashion or other personal reasons.
